Meeting with the Uganda Delegation at the 74th United Nations General Assembly in New-York

Amb. DHO Young-shim, Chair of UN SDGs Alumni former Chairperson of the UNWTO ST-EP Foundation with the President of the Republic of Korea MOON Jae-in, the Korean First Lady, and members of the Ugandan delegation at the UN General Assembly

Amb. DHO Young-shim attended the 74th Session of the United Nations General-Assembly (UNGA74) in New-York as Chair of the UN SDGs Advocates Alumni and former Chairperson of the UNWTO ST-EP Foundation.
She had a meeting with the Ugandan delegation and mentioned about the Millennium Villages as Tourism Destinations Project that has been supported by the ST-EP Foundation in Uganda in order to empower local communities through the development of sustainable tourism activities. 
A report on the MVTD activities in Uganda was remitted to Amb. DHO, together with a UN SDGs song produced by the beneficiaries of the project.
