PyeongChang 2018 Closing Ceremony- Meeting with Korean Ministry of Tourism and Gambian Olympic Committee Member

Amb. Dho Young-shim, Chairperson of UNWTO ST-EP Foundation and UN SDGs Advocate attended the closing ceremony of the XXIII Winter Olympics Games, or PyeongChang 2018, on February 25, 2018.
On that occasion, she had a meeting with Mrs. Beatrice Allen, Member of the National Olympic Committee of Gambia, who was a local partner of the UNWTO ST-EP Foundation for the establishment of two UN SDGs (formerly MDGs) Thank You Small Libraries (TYSL) in Gambia in December 2011, in the Olympafrica Centre and in the Olympic House.
​Mrs. Allen was introduced by Amb. Dho to H.E. Mr. Do Jongwhan, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Rep. of Korea, and expressed her gratitude for the two UN SDGs while requesting him for further support through providing more books to the TYSL in order to ensure their sustainability.
