Amb. Dho Young-shim, UN SDGs Advocate and Chairperson of the International Charity Foundation (ICF) had two meetings in October 2018, with H.E. Advocate with H.E. Mohamed bin Abdulla Al-Dehaimi, Ambassador of Qatar to the Republic of Korea, with aim to promote the UN SDGs Ball, as well as how mega-sports events can contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Global Agenda for Sustainable Development. Qatar was selected to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Amb. Dho Young-shim, UN SDGs Advocate and Chairperson of the International Charity Foundation (ICF) had a meeting with H.E. Nozuko Gloria Bam, Ambassador of South Africa to the republic of Korea, in order to discuss a regional initiative aimed at fostering sustainable tourism development in Africa. This initiative would be spearheaded by the Ambassadors of Ghana, Rwanda, South Africa, and Tanzania to the Republic of Korea, who are all women. During the 73rd UN General Assembly in New-York, Amb. BTS leader RM gave his speech on the occasion of the launch of UNICEF's 'Generation Unlimited' initiative, as the group members were invited as UNICEF goodwill ambassadors.
